Let me start off by saying that this book is pretty predictable, but if you think about it. A lot of books within this genre are, but we still read 'em, so of course, I'm going to enjoy it! I'm a fan of books, where the guy is pretty much a man-whore and the lovely lady completely flips his world upside down, which definitely was the case for this one.

Rule Archer is an ass, he is the definition of a rebel. Tattoos and piercings everywhere, different girl here and there. Stuck in the shadow of his late twin brother, Remy, extremely troubled relationship with his mother and the closest family member, would be his oldest brother, Rome.
"But he's also arrogant and explosive, he treats women like crap because too many of them let him get away with it ... "
And then there's beautiful Shaw Landon, the all time good girl, who is just trying to find her place in the world. Former girlfriend of Remy, since they're relationship began, she has always been a part of the Archer family. After the passing of Remy, she always made a point to pick up Rule in any state he was in, to have Sunday Brunch with his parents, every single week.

She holds some heavy secrets and it doesn't take too long to surface. All it took was one night of one too many cocktails, running into Rule and quite a few spilled secrets to change their relationship.

"Trust me, Shaw, you will never forget today."
I loved the characters and the story. My emotions are extremely heightened at the moment because of my husband's deployment, so I felt every little thing ... I even choked up a bit (pretty embarassing). I've read similar stories, but I never get tired of them.  I loved the growth of each character throughout the entire book, and it all adds up to a pretty solid ending. Once you get pass Rule's arrogance, you learn to see the other side of him, which we all learn to love. And I was such a fan of Shaw's development too, lets just say it was inevitable for Rule to rub off on her a bit.

Overall, I enjoyed this book very much, it's a quick read and ZERO cliffhangers!
